Hey babe! I'm Erica Schramm
I'm so glad that you are here! Let me introduce myself really quickly. I am a lash artist of over 7 years turned beauty business coach, podcast host, & lash educator. I'm a wife to my bff, a mama x2, a big Tswift lover, and I love glitter, pink, kayaking, & being outside.
When I first went solo as a lash artist, I experienced first hand how difficult it can be to know how to start your own business, build your clientele, and run it all by yourself. I wanted to lash out on my own so badly, but struggled hard in the gaining clients department. There wasn't much in the way of business education back then, so after a few years of trial and error, I finally found myself in a great spot with my clientele and biz.
Aaaand then life happened. In a last minute, spur of the moment decision, we decided to move 3+ hours away for my husband's job to a city where we didn't know anyone. Two weeks later I found myself facing the decision of getting a "normal" job and putting my son in daycare all day or taking the risk to rebuild my clientele from scratch and get to spend more time with my son. I'll let you guess which one I picked.
The next month I rented out a tiny, windowless studio room and got to work to build my clientele. Less than 6 months later, I found myself with a full clientele and a waitlist going into maternity leave shortly after. Then the next year, I added another lash artist to my studio and doubled our clientele. That is when I realized I would never have to worry about where I'd get my next client from ever again.
And now I've set out to teach other lash artists and beauty pros how to do the same. Because I believe every solo beauty biz owner should have the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary to grow their business and be supported in a like-minded community along the way.
And so the Lash Biz Babes Academy was born. To support you, teach you, encourage you, guide you, and cheer you along your way as you grow your dream beauty biz and create a life that you truly love.
